Intrusive thoughts

I could have been camping this weekend.

Someone invited me.

Someone I would have liked to get to know better.

But another person in the party

was uncomfortable

with my presence -

there.

So I stayed away.

They have a right to their boundaries.

I have a right to mine.

I will not remain where I am not wanted.

Instead

I’ll be having my own party.

With people who do

want me.
