Love this. Formulating questions. Takes me months and years to realize what my questions are.

In therapy this week, my therapist asked me “what goals do you want to create in therapy.” I was so proud of myself with my reply of truth: “I am not good at answering questions, but maybe you could give me some examples? That could help me formulate a reply.”

She looked at my chart and came up with a few suggestions. They were GOOD suggestions. And I now have therapy goals. It made me weep with hope - that I can make progress on these areas that have me stuck, all day, every day, at home, alone, in my house. Afraid to leave it.

I am glad to hear that you have hope. I think many of us are quick to accept answers - in lieu of a question. I see that when I teach biology - the first step to really getting it, is when you can ask a question.
